People v. A. G. (April 2019) Petition to Rescind Statutory Summary Suspension due to DUI
The defendant was charged with a DUI and as a result his license was suspended for a year. The defendant hires Mr. Venditti, who immediately files the necessary paperwork to try to gain his client his driving privileges back. During the hearing for his driving privileges (petition to rescind statutory summary suspension) Mr. Venditti argues that the arresting police officer did not validly or properly warn his client that his license would be suspended for a year if he refused to submit to a breath or blood test because the defendant was asleep at the time of the alleged warnings. The Judge agreed and the defendant’s license and driving privileges are reinstated!
